#372: "How To Save Money On Your Gas Bills"

Tip #15: Speeding. Don't speed. Cars get about 21% more mileage at 55 mph then at 70 mph.

Tip #17: Idling. Never idle your car for more than 30 seconds,  even in cold weather. Today's cars are designed to be driven almost immediately from start-up. And re-starting your car only takes the equivalent of 10-15 sec. of gas while idling.

Tip # 29: High Octane Gas. Use the lowest octane gas that won't make your engine knock. After all, high octane gas was simply designed to reduce knocking, not give you better performance or extra mileage.

Tip #37: Air Conditioning. In hot climates, drive a car with light colored exterior and interior, to reflect light, heat.  Tinted glass also prevents heat buildup. This will reduce your use of Air Conditioning, which is a real gas guzzler.

Tip #38: Wrong Tires. Use radial tires for less friction between tire and road.
